Always Different, Always the Same
My work deals extensively with gradients of color, light and pattern, with the idea of creating an interior rea lity which may include landscape, the figure, and/or portraiture. As I paint, I allow the patterns (and thus the overall piece) to evolve into the forms it will take. In this way it has a very organic but also very clean and tight feel about it; to me, this combination of mannered pattern with organic improvisation/evolution gives a sense of peace, calm, and overall well-being. While I work, I love to incorporate the intangible sense of the space in which I am working, with the resulting piece having a sense of “belonging” to the space.
Foreign Bodies
The human being is designed with both positive and negative attributes that play a role in personal development. Each of us manifests the consequences of the exchange between the two influences, both monstrosity and rationality. Interested in these aspects of human nature, I fabricate figures that characterize the human condition. I have developed a body of work whereby the physical manifests the psychoanalytical paradoxes present in the human consciousness. My aim is to construct figures that introduce a dialogue between these paradoxes and polarities.

Resonant Earth
Resonant Earth is a group exhibition about the tangibility and mutability of sound. Each of the pieces in this exhibition exist at the intersection of art and science, technology and craft. Featuring electroluminescent pots, soil Synthesizers, micro-tombs suspended in sound, and audiovisual projection about the materials that make us, Resonant Earth will change how viewers think about the sounds and signals that lie hidden in plain sight.
PreViewContours
As an abstract artist, my work is a vibrant exploration of color, energy, and the interplay between form and atmosphere. My artistic process is driven by a playful and intuitive approach. Using bold, clean lines and geometric precision, I create compositions that dance with rhythmic vitality, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in a world of dynamic abstraction.
