Art Scholarship Alert

Art Scholarship Alert (ASA) is a juried art exhibition and scholarship competition for grades 9 - 12 in Ingham, Clinton, Eaton, Ionia, Shiawassee, Barry, Livingston, Calhoun and Jackson counties. This program gives recognition and financial assistance to outstanding art students, encourages artistic growth, and provides young artists an opportunity to participate in a professional setting.

For more than 28 years, Lansing Art Gallery has proudly hosted Art Scholarship Alert and awarded $102,700 to young artists to help further their creative endeavors. This includes the annual $1,000 Sara Jane Venable Scholarship which is awarded to one student at the senior level.

Jury Result Notification: March 13, 2013
ASA Exhibit: April 3-26, 2013 at Lansing Art Gallery
ASA Student Reception: April 12, 2013 - 6:30-8 PM, Awards Ceremony at 7 PM
